DOWNTOWN EVERETT OUTDOOR PROJECT Responding to the commercial needs of Downtown Everett, MA, we worked with an array of public agencies to plan and design approaches to opening up shopping areas. One project was to create guidelines and designs for the closing off of Everett’s Norwood Street on Saturday afternoons and Sundays and creating a temporary walking, socially-distanced plaza or mall. Related issues considered: control gateways, décor, consideration of waiting distances, social distanced placement of tables and chairs, canopies and umbrellas, healthcare and employment information dispersal, etc. Back to Portfolio

SOUTHBRIDGE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN The Southbridge Economic Development Plan was a collaborative effort with RKG and Community Circle consulting groups. FLOATING LEAF Favermann Design has been involved in a number of design competitions over the years. Often, these are creative exercises to add to the urban fabric. An example of this firm practice is this proposal for a pavilion for the famous Swan Boats at Boston’s Public Garden, Additionally, there was a smaller structure designed to cover a functional stem pipe.
