1/1 THE TOWN OF PEABODY, MA Named for the father of modern philanthropy, George Peabody, the City of Peabody went from being a farm center to a major center of New England’s leather tannery industry. A design was created with the Branding and Wayfinding Committee that incorporates a metaphorical window and historic rosettes.
