Favermann Design has been designated as a Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
“The Birds of Audubon Circle,” part of the City of Boston’s Public Art Collection, was installed 20 years ago in 2005.
2025 was the 24th Season that Favermann Design has been a consultant to the Boston Red Sox.
Mark Favermann received the Journalism and Communications Award for his decades of writing on the built environment and Public Art from the American Planning Association, Massachusetts Chapter in 2024.
Mark Favermann was recognized by the Mass Cultural Council as a Creative Individual Artist for his sculpture.

Favermann Design is a creative urban design practice specializing in human scale design solutions. We are heavily involved in strategic placemaking, graceful civic branding, vital streetscapes and functional public art.
